WHAT WILL MY FIRST SESSION BE LIKE?
On your initial treatment a full consultation including any medical conditions or medication you may be on is done. This is completely confidential and is to assess which treatments will be safe to carry out. Although massage and reflexology are safe treatments there are a few conditions which may prevent or restrict treatment I will then be able to recommend a treatment.
WILL I NEED TO UNDRESS?
For most massage treatments it is better to undress down to your underwear. Your privacy is always respected and towels and sheets are draped over the body and I will only uncover the area or limb I am working on. However if you prefer to keep some clothing on massage can be done over the clothing although it is not as effective.
DO YOU TREAT MEN?
This is a female only service in the Leigh treatment rooms. However we can refer you to other qualified, experienced massage therapists. Please note: this is strictly professional massage.

Reflexology and massage are generally very safe treatments. But there are a few conditions that may prevent or restrict treatment.
Conditions that may prevent treatment from taking place are:
- First 3 months of pregnancy
- Infectious and contagious illnesses
- Thrombosis, Phlebitis, Heart-Conditions, Epilepsy, Diabetes, Post-Surgery.
Some of these conditions may just need a doctors referral letter, or that area may be avoided. Please contact me if you have any queries or concerns.
